Meet the Monkeys – BBC

One of our longest-standing clients is the BBC Natural History Unit (NHU) in Bristol with whom we have worked on some fantastic series including Planet Earth, Nature’s Great Events, Africa, Madagascar, Frozen Planet and Life to name just a few.
2013 saw us working with them once again on a number of shoots – the first of which was in Sulawesi, Indonesia, with Producer/Director Rob Sullivan for BBC 2. “Meet the Monkeys”: Natural World – about the critically endangered and extremely endearing Macaque monkeys which are only found in a single patch of rainforest on the north coast of Sulawesi.
It took two days for the Cineflex and crew to arrive and 3 days for the helicopter to position to our base from Jakarta, but it was well worth it. The shoot was a great success and we enjoyed working with a very talented crew in an extraordinary location.
We hope that, in some small way,Tenthirteen, has contributed to helping raise awareness, worldwide, of the plight of these incredible animals.
